










United Methodist Women is the largest denominational faith organization for women with approximately 800,000 members around the world whose mission is fostering spiritual growth, developing leaders and advocating for justice.
We have members in local units across the Virginia Conference. These units are all sizes: from units in small, rural churches, to units in large, urban churches with multiple "circles". Our membership is intergenerational, from exciting new circles for elementary age girls, high school and college young women to circles that include long time members age 100+, and everything in between! No matter the size of the local unit, or the age of its members, ALL represent women organized for mission, and committed to the purpose of United Methodist Women.

President Olivia Hinton is obviously excited at the reading of a resolution by VUMAC Executive Director, Sam McCracken. The resolution is in recognition of the contributions of the VAUMW toward the continued success of VUMAC and was presented by Mr. McCracken from its Board of Directors.
