The Reading Program is to encourage United Methodist Women:
The Women's Division recommends a diverse range of books with the intention of broadening exposure to a variety of concepts. The Division does not intend that accept each word or idea contained within each volume. Some books you may agree with. Some you may not. Either is all right. At the least you know the Women's Division cares and wants you to be a knowledgeable and caring Christian about the issues of the day.
1. Borrow 4 books for a 6-week period. Please return promptly so that others may have a chance to read the books.
2. Pay the postage to and from the Lending Library. Make checks payable to Gail Sutcliffe or simply note the amount of postage on the envelope you receive and when returning books, include that amount in a small envelope with the books. PLEASE DO NOT SEND STAMPS.
3. When returning books, mark package Media Mail and return to the address below.
4. If it is necessary to keep a book past the due date, please call or email and the due date will be extended for 1 month.
5. In the event a book is lost, the person requesting the books is responsible for cost of replacing them.
6. Books may be ordered using the Lending Library Request Form or by Email: gfvs43(at)aol.com giving your name, address, phone #, church and District. Copies of these requests are kept on file; it is not necessary to repeat a book request. This gives more choices in case a book is out. Please note if you do not want substitutes.
Send all orders to any of these:
