The Alexandria District UMW recognized Rev Vernell Carter, as someone of significance, having made a positive impact and influence in her presence, leadership, support, and participation in district UMW organization and missions.This was a grand event! Though we (Rev. Vernell Carter, Dorothy Cross, and Vikki Beaty) were able to be there for the day only, we saw so many old friends, met some new ones, and enjoyed the program and presentation very much.  The drive to and from was also enjoyable!!

There were 385 present at the time the business program began!  Wonderful turn-out of women from across the state!
